Experiencing Space : Spatial transition
With an analysis of 2 precedent studies relating to spatial poetics in architecture, we were to identify and explain different ‘modifying elements’ in architecture, and how they inform spatial use and experience. And based on the precedent studies, we need to create tectonic expressions of different spatial qualities which impact on the uses and experiential conditions of space and study and express the sectional drawing in relation to use and poetics of space.

Experiencing Place : Genius Loci
Site Analysis + Concept Design
In a group of 12, we were assigned to do a historical research and site analysis of our final project site, Kampung Baru Machap Baru. We need to develop our concept design individually for our final project Memory Repository after this site analysis and historical research. Majority of my teammates were very helpful and responsible to their distributed task, a special thanks to them here for making it happen ;) We also had some workshop to guide us on rail during our concept development stage. This project can be also says as a prologue for our final studio project. It saves a lot time for us for doing site analysis in a group form and has a tally information between individuals.

Project 2b
Experiencing Place : The Memory Repository
In this final project, we are assigned to design a visitor interpretation, memory repository for the villagers of our site, Kampung Baru Machap Baru. We need to use the datas collected from our project 2a and elaborate our concept. We had another 2 workshop to help us on structure and passive design. I had a hard time on designing the exterior of building, but Ms Sue May and my seniors had helped a lot, another special thanks to them here :D I had learned to design a proper place from this semester, I'm not sure did I execute it well, but there's some useful take away for me to enter next semester.
