A Summary for my First Semester.

It was a disaster when I fresh enter here, a total new environment, a total strange atmosphere, a total unfamiliar vibe.

​

After few weeks of being misfit, finally I'm blending in and starts performing better confidence with better assignments. Very special thanks to my studio groupmate Wen Xuan who started to talk with me and helping me getting over the awkward situation.

​

For Studio, I would like to give Mr. Chern a very big thanks for didn't give me up while I'm not presenting good during Project 1 & 2 and always provide useful suggestions based on our design. He is an outstanding lecturer that fill up with full of knowledge and kindness. The assignments for studios are not very tough, just me having problem with my mental at starting. :') But I'm glad that I'm doing well in Final Project, received some compliments from guests and judges during jury, that makes me feels warm and very motivated.

For Design Communication, Dr. Lia too always provide efficient feedbacks and flexible due date while some of our assignments are crashing. She is always polite and soft while giving lecture in pre-record videos. One of my favorite lecturer even we don't communicate much like in Studio. The assignments were not very hard for me, especially for first tutorial and Project 1 because I'm used to drawing anime illustration since primary school. I get an opportunity to try on color marker. Even though I'm still not familiar with it but it was very much fun experiencing it.

For History & Theory Class, Mr. Wahab is a very patient lecturer. Our group was keep delaying the tutorial for Project 1 but he is still allowing us to disturb him anytime for comments and feedback. And I really love the way Ms. Dee gives lecture, she always use pastel colors and cute meme of herself, that make a boring history class much more interesting. The assignments for this module is also not very hard to finish, just there always been crashing with some other assignments we having. Guess I might need to improve my time managing.

Overall of this semester is very nice, online classes are all going smooth, did a good presentation, submitted good assignments, scoring good marks, this ending for me is good, but not perfect. Will improve everything of myself to enter next semester.

Hope this pandemic may end soon. Can't wait to meet everyone, I'm starting to love here.
